I am a postdoctoral researcher at ENS Paris, in the DATA team of the Centre for Data Science, where I work with Bruno Loureiro.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), working with Florent Krzakala. Prior to that, I completed my PhD under the supervision of Satya Majumdar and Marc Potters. I hold Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from ENS Paris and Sorbonne Université, respectively.
My research investigates problems in machine learning, high-dimensional statistics and probability, and statistical physics, especially when random matrix theory can be used to characterize statistical limits, phase transitions, and algorithmic performance.
Current themes include spectral methods for high-dimensional inference, feature learning, multi-modal learning, non-linear low-rank estimation, and random matrix/free-probability questions.
Recent news
- Sept. 2026I attended and gave a talk at The Art of Randomness, a conference celebrating Satya Narayan Majumdar.
- Aug. 2026New preprint with Florent Krzakala and Vanessa Piccolo: Spectral phase transitions in Gaussian multi-index models. We characterize the limiting spectrum and outlier transitions of matrix-valued spectral estimators, and show that an optimal preprocessing reaches the weak-recovery threshold.
- Aug. 2026Our work with Lenka Zdeborová, Spectral Thresholds in Correlated Spiked Models and Fundamental Limits of Partial Least Squares, appears in the AISTATS 2026 proceedings.
- Nov. 2025I joined the DATA team at ENS Paris as a postdoctoral researcher.
